The institute was established in 1991 at Nagaon in Dhule district of Khandesh region in the state of Maharashtra.
This institution provides the best quality education to the society as did the Nagaon Education Society, established by the late Hon. Annasaheb Dattatray Waman Patil with a view to providing huge opportunities to the rural masses in higher education and technical since the last 26. year. To date, the institute covers an area of 4.63 hectares and provides housing for the College building, offices, classrooms, drawing rooms, laboratories, workshops, etc.
The institute is endorsed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and the Government of Maharashtra, and is affiliated with North Maharashtra University Jalgaon.
The teaching and non-teaching staff at the institute is a mix of experienced senior faculty and young, dynamic faculty dedicated to the noble cause of education. Many of our students have been the best in university exams.

It was Hon. Shri’s dream. Naval Ananda Patil, my father and patriotic leader of our countries, to promote a system of higher education not only in the villages but also in the villages of the developed villages like Navalnagar, and to realize his dream of him; myself along with other visionaries wrote the first plan of my father’s dream which later developed into a cherished institute i.e. Sanjay Education Society Polytechnic, Wadibhokar, Dhule.
(Part of Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai) Sanjay Education Society (SES) Polytechnic, Dhule Dhule, Maharashtra Sanjay Education Society’s College of Engineering and Polytechnic was founded in 1983. The college is affiliated with North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, India, under the supervision of AICTE. The surrounding area is mostly arid with some agricultural land.

Sri. Bhausaheb NS of Shivaji Vidya Prasarak Sanstha Patil Arts and Mulla Fidaali Mulla Abadulali Commerce College, Dhule was established in June 1956 with a modest effect of around 100 students. Initially, it was only an intermediate college of the Faculty of Arts. S.S.V.P. Sanstha is the first kind in the whole region of Khandesh, established in 1912 by a group of people supplied and supplied to impart education to the most trusted strata of society at an affordable price and place. Dhule district is mainly a tribal district in Maharashtra which suffers from a considerable backlog in reporting to other districts in various areas of progress. After the establishment of S.S.V.P Sanstha, it was a long-cherished dream and heartfelt wish of our founding fathers that students belonging to the agrarian community and other weaker sections of society in Dhule District were given the opportunity to persist their higher education in their neighborhood itself. At that time, it was kind of a prerogative of very few elites as higher education was only available in remote places like Bombay, Pune and Nasik. It was even far beyond the reach of riches! Thus, many students from poor classes had to stop their studies after enrolling. Our Sanstha had rendered invaluable service in the field of education after 1912 by opening a boarding school for poor and needy students and later colleges. After rendering such selfless service to society for four decades, the golden moment of achieving the goal came in the history of our Sanstha in June 1956.
